Trapping Adventures

The fur industry has a long rich history in Canada. Fur from the Yukon Territory is some of the best quality to be found anywhere in the world. Miles of uninhabited wilderness make Yukon a trappers paradise. Grizzly Creek operates two traplines, both in the southeast Yukon. Each of these trap-lines are unique and have good populations of fur bearers. Since the Yukon uses a registered trapline system, we have exclusive trapping rights in each respective area.

In addition to our trap-line adventures we also host a wilderness wolf trapping school. This class is limited to a maximum of four students. We believe most people learn by doing and that’s what this course is all about. You will spend 14-days in the Toobally Lakes watershed learning to trap these elusive canines. Unlike other trapping schools we teach you not only how to make a variety of sets; we teach you one of the most often overlooked aspects of wolf trapping. How to reliably choose successful locations. We only run one of these classes each year so booking early is necessary.
